One day, when there was nothing to do, I went to the grocer’s shop and asked the young lad behind the counter to give me 24 teaspoons of sugar, just for the heck of it.
The lad looked at me from head to toe, then weighed 200 grams of sugar and gave it to me.
I was puzzled, so I said_ “I asked for 24 teaspoons, didn’t I?
Lad: Yes sir, you did. And believe me, this will be 24 teaspoons.
Me: How are you so sure?
Lad: My father has measured 1 kg, and it came to 120 teaspoons. So the 200 grams that I gave you will be 24 teaspoons.
Me: That’s logical. What does your father do?
Lad: Sir, he’s also a retired Colonel.
