Last week, an RWA of Bengaluru made news by publishing a rule that said that unmarried people cannot have guests of the opposite gender after 10 p.m.
Obviously, these tenants pay full rent and their tenancy rights cannot be illegally sabotaged by the RWA.
But this is not the first time that RWAs have played God.
