As the world rushed to congratulate India on becoming the fourth country to do a soft landing on the moon, some journalists suffered from foot-in-mouth-itis.
For instance, Patrick Christy of GB News asked India to return the Euro 2.3 billion aid it got.

India does not take aid from Britain any more. The aid that is given from British NGOs to Indian NGOs is for the welfare work of those individual NGOs. Much of it goes towards conversion and missionary activities
In 2014, the New York times ran a cartoon when India become the fought country to successfully put a Mars Orbitor in position.
