As the world rushed to congratulate India on becoming the fourth country to do a soft landing on the moon, some journalists suffered from foot-in-mouth-itis.

India does not take aid from Britain any more. The aid that is given from British NGOs to Indian NGOs is for the welfare work of those individual NGOs. Much of it goes towards conversion and missionary activities
